But he bursts into the middle of big family troubles. Erika's brother, inventor Thomas Studacher, is on the verge of bankruptcy. His last straw is an all-purpose robot with which Thomas hopes to make a financial breakthrough. But because Thomas has no talent for inventing, the robot soon gives up the ghost.
